Foundation mare OCEANIA was born in 1977, her sire Ocean Monarch (imp UK) being by the Polish stallion Grojec, and her dam Dellmount Ishtar being of predominantly English and Crabbett bloodlines.

Oceanid

Oceania was a rising four-year-old when she joined our family, and was our first purebred Arabian. She was duly trained to saddle, pleasure ridden, shown under saddle, gave pony rides at school fairs, and in-between produced fillies who became the broodmares of the stud - Oceanid (dec), Ocean Breeze, Ocean Flight, Ocean Mist, Europa, and the young mares Pacifica (now owned by Tessa Duess) and Brazilia. The geldings have gone on to do endurance and other activities. Oceania and her progeny take the Keheilan family strain - the 'cavalry' type riding horse, of rounded lines and good constitution.

Two other mares take a different branch of the Keheilan lines, and they also have contributed greatly to the stud (Bint Kareema, and Aramoana).

However Oceania, at 30 years of age, is still queen of all she surveys in the hills of Le Bons Bay.

To compliment and enhance the emphasis on the Polish bloodline influence the mares Coolinda Park Xarla (Lingxiu/Gedye Lilani), Coolinda Park Lucja (Crème Dynasty/Gedye Lattika), and Coolinda Park Khloe (Khundjur/Legend of Etelka) have been introduced. They are all of the Seklawi family strain, which exhibits more beauty and elegance than the Keheilan, but still with the excellent riding capabilities. Xarla and Khloe have pure Polish bloodline progeny on the ground, Lucja is proving to be a talented riding horse.

All the horses have been chosen for their potential riding ability and temperament.
